Inspirational work as always everyone! Here's a small prop I used to develop my familiarity with hard surface baking, PBR texturing/shading and nDo2. It's going to be part of a larger project, which I'll be starting a thread for soon. C&C welcome!
Very cool work in here! Really inspiring as always. I finished my asset I just did for fun while I figure out what kind of environment I want to do next. PBR materials are so much fun. :)
I've been experimenting with marmoset a bit, trying to get a feel for the program. Most of my workflow is tuned to the source pipeline, so I'm finding it easier to just redo all my maps to PBR then build a shader that replicates the archaic vertexlitgeneric shader.
MM, that made me laugh way too long. Anyway, started texturing the Ray-gun, PBR style. It's a Crosspost I'd love some ideas of how to make the yellow bits more interesting. Still working on most aspects of the textures. And without the lights on...
@Seth that looks amazing dude, awesome stuff My pirate girl sort of done :) Marmoset 2, PBR, 3x2k maps :) My sketchbook link with more renders of her and sculpts is here :) http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2082187&postcount=37
Learning PBR and Substance. Very basic and procedural first texture pass, using the standard substance nodes (it's on my to buy list for sure now, love it). Really really want to learn how to make custom materials but I'm dumb as shit when it comes to technical stuff :(
Did a Marmoset 2 render of my Everlast Boxing Gloves and Headgear, this is menat for a much bigger UE4 scene of a boxing gym that me and my brother are making. Thin kit turned out ok, especially since this was my first take with PBR and Marmoset 2 :D
Old tree. Polycount: 3300 tri (+ tesselation) Tex: 2048 px. PBR. Tools: ZBrush, Substance Painter, Blender, Photoshop I'm going to do also a second version of texturing: 100%. Then blending between them in UE4, set per instance. Pure albedo, unlit:
Really awsome work here. So many creative 3d in here I almost enjoy this thread every day! Here is my cowboy character. First time I used pbr and this is my first styelized character. Just to let you know - yes the cowboy has eyes :) cheers
Great work everywhere ! :D I finished the Medieval Dude and rendered him in Cryengine as always. Xposting: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=139493 A turntable video: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3f4jNcDmpE"]MedievalDude PBR Realtime Render - YouTube[/ame] And fun :D :D :D
