trying to unsuckify my texturing skills with bobo's brunt model did that yesterday after work.. about 3 hours work.. too long. did that one in about 30 minutes on lunch break today, still verry basic, but i like the way its comin along c&c welcome
Taxis. Uvs are almost finished. I'll have 3 variants on 1 texture when I'm done. Two with the Dorsal advertising and one with the forward-facing sign. Then comes the damage models and damage particles (doors hood and wheel) and then comes the blowing up swarms of them with a giant robot (this part comes a little later)
yes i understand what you mean, and you're right but right now the texture is only a mix of some tilable metals with the normalmap overlayed and only a few edges extra highlighted, only the ones that show upwards have some extra highlights. For last night's practice model I wanted to do something low end, very low. This also gave me an opportunity to play with more creative uv mapping. This character started as a riot police officer, ended up a golden knight. Anyway, all fun, silly stuff. :P 2-3 hours total.
