Yes its a complex thing that turns 3D texture painting into its own fulltime job. Not sure if its still the standard beyond creature texturing. From what I'm hearing it seems Substance has been making inroads for most types of assets and surely everyone prefers actually painting the surface directly and having full…
So I made a house with a roof. textured it nicely and DDO did a good job but when i preview it and spin it around, I see that it's either in "single sided mode" or the other side of my model is missing. I mean I look at the roof and it's good but then I spin it around and look at it from below and it disappears. Ideas?
NEEDMOARTAUNTS! My thoughts on the taunt, the spin reads much more clearly then the dance and is much more enjoyable to watch. To be honest, you can probably get away with just using the spin part of the animation if you're worried about the lenght, nevertheless its great!
Yea, I agree and I know very well what you mean. It takes tons of practice to get it done right and looking natural. I still have often trouble with these kind of walks, some times I have to delete the whole walk and start over. It's a pain. :D When animating Cycles.. it's far less painful.
Hey Polycounters! Here is some of the work I've done on Need for Speed: Payback as cinematic Lighting Artist. There is even more on the artstation page. <3 Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8lkQaw Polycount Thread:…
Halo 2 - everything about this game was painful, and now I work in retail selling it and must listen to those Halo freaks rave about how "revolutionary" it is. X-Men: Legends - Who let this one out the door? and who play tested it and forgot to mention that it is nearly unplable. Star Ocean: Beyond the stars - most painful…
This is crazy beautiful. Love that Render above it is so awesome. I want those boots <span> Great and wonderful work can not wait to see this finished and serenading his sweet Belle. <span> Incredible sculpt on the face and clothing. Great luck to you.
Your animations are plenty creative, love it! Maybe a spin or flip while jumping off the scythe could make it more flashy. Although, sometimes its nice to have a more standard approach because it reads well. The spinning scythe idea sounds interesting too :)
I have done a lot of research in this field and I can tell you that there are a lot of different and contradicting opinions -> everyone is trying to push their point of view so I wont blindly believe this guy above do research find of what is motives are who is funding his research most importantly ! To what I have read…
Daz: I was irked by the grapes too, but then I began to see why. *SPOILERS ABOUND!* The whole idea of the underground world, the characters, etc. were a parallel for the civil war that was going on at the time with the rise of fascism in Spain. Remember when the Captain refers to his unborn son at dinner living in the new,…
