Hi guys, I’m planning to level up my game environment art skills and I’m looking for mentorship from an experienced artist (preferably with AAA or strong production experience). This will be a paid mentorship. If you offer this or can recommend someone, please share details. Thanks!
The texture tiles "mostly" ok by the look of it (i checked in designer) there's a couple of areas where I'd expect to see some sort of spike but nothing that would cause the sort of gap seen in the last image assuming a 1:1 ratio of faces:pixels - unless one of the meshes was rotated relative to the others. I'd put this…
Keyboard Shortcut Override, overrides the main shortcuts with whatever submenu you happen to be working in. So for example in edit poly sub object mode; With KSO off, Ctrl-S brings up the save dialog. With KSO on, Ctrl-S overrides the main Ctrl-S (save) and toggles soft select. With KSO on, if you exit edit poly Ctrl-S…

I am confused about how to straighten uvs. I am currently trying it with this simple mesh, but whenever I try to straighten it, it looks deformed and you can see the stretching on the checker map. what´s looking strange to me is that you have shaded uv´s active but both shells shade blue while one should be red with mirrored uv´s. so make sure there are no flipped normals on one half of the mesh.
Hey everyone, it's been a while! Here's my latest work, based on a concept by Dancheng YE. The goal was to stay true to the original design while making small grounded adjustments to sell it as a practical transport vehicle. More final renders, highpoly shots and a turntable up on my ArtStation and Instagram.
