That looks great! Another thing that I was wondering, is if you planned on having any sort of debris clutter pile type objects? Such as small piles of rubble or even trash spilled on the ground. - Zach
I totally forgot the post was here. Bardler's method work! Thanks and sorry for the late response. Thanks antweiler, learned something I didn't know about. Best Regards, Zack
Hi Zack! Yes, the unreal tool looks really cool. Unfortunately im using Unity :-/ Perhaps I could find some kind of shader that will do this. thanks for your help N
There's no need to use the layer brush for painting only; I don't think it's algorithms would lend itself to be useful in anyway. You'd get better behaviour using the standard brush, RGB on, Zadd/sub off.
hey zach! More mechanical huh? Perhaps but really trying to get nice balance between the two. I am likely to throw in more mechanical details as I model, but don't want to go overboard.
Pretty sure black is the zero value? The white parts of the alpha will either push the surface up or down depending on whether the brush is set to zadd/zsub. The brighter the white, the greater the change in surface will be produced.
Thanks Zack, I really appreciated the help you and others gave me, looking forward to the progression of your Aztec scene as well man :) Hopefully I can learn more from you.
Hi Zack - I am using Maya 2013. Im still playing around in zbrush, but the possibilities are very, very exciting! Moving on to the hair next. Hoping to get her modelled and unwrapped by the end of the weekend.
Awesome stuff, keep it up. The latest sculpt looks a lot like the ref, it also looks a bit like Zach Braff (JT from Scrubs) mostly in the 3/4 shot and not so much in the others.
Has Andy taken up punching people lately? haha. Fear not, you might get a chuckle maybe. or eyerolll. have to say its from Zack though. also, Real Men Use Boxer
