Hey DWalker, thanks for checking out the thread :) Believe me, I had a list of improvements and additions that I hoped to be able to make, but the time I had to get my entry done just didn't allow it...definitely would have liked to include some more detail on the rebar, further texture details and some debris around the…
Thanks a lot everyone! I made some of the changes suggested here. You may have to refresh the page if its not looking right the first time. I think the cached website wont update unless you do...or something. Aphex: Thanks, I changed the e-mail to a mailto link. Good thinkin! Also added a download link to my resume.…
hey everyone! Time for an update, not a big one, but an update nonetheless. @coots - thanks for the crit! Hopefully this version addresses some of the intense shadows more than the previous one. Also got rid of the moss. @silkroad - thank you! @DWalker - Hey thanks for the crits, I decided to follow and change the colors…
I agree with the Zelda series. After the 64 came out, it only went downhill. Twilight Princess bored the hell out of me (lose the wolf shit) and Phantom Hourglass was an absolute trainwreck (that damn temple that you had to do over and over and over again!). Wind Waker was about the only recent (sorta) Zelda game that I…
Indeed. Similarly or to extrapolate further I think it's also about time Blender's modifier stack receives a well overdue revamp. Over recent months I've invested some time and effort researching native non-destructive techniques, for example the NITROX3D workflow for designers by Chipp Walters was an absolute eye…
@DWalker - thanks for the suggestion, will definitely fix some of those issues as soon as I get round to it! @mr_ace - Thanks a bunch, I was quite hesitant on how much I could push, glad you pointed it out!. Well I basically exaggerated his features some more and also did some rough ideas for the heads and narrowed it…
Cheers DWalker. Not to worried about the shoulders as this was a quick skin test to check deformation areas. The shoulders had a very fast skin on there and no corrective blendshapes or anything; so ultimately they look square (also I need to alter the placement of the shoulder joint). I've started doing UV's and a bit of…
Thanks for all the feedback everyone :) . I got rid of the symmetry now while its all still rough, looks much better i think. Cloth is still quite lumpy but ill smooth it put once I'm happy with all the shapes. Cosmo85: Thanks! My workflow is pretty standard i guess, just a lowpoly in 3D package then sculpt using lots of…
I concur with most of what Dwalker said but to add upon that: - Move the social icons somewhere else or at least make the list vertical as they take up way too much space. - Add additional shots for the 3D projects. The biggest offender here would definitely be the UDK puzzle level as it looks nice but is way too zoomed…
