TexTools hasn't been updated since the author switched over to Blender. You might have better progress with learning the Autodesk toolset thoroughly. Then you can start looking into other tools to extend any functionality you find lacking. -

Autodesk recommends using reset xref but didnt find it very usefull. it would be nice if you could reset model to starting position. -
