+1 for UVLayout. Very efficient for hardsurface and organic UVs :) It gives you a 80s feeling with its keybord-shortcut-only interface. Turn on the knight-rider intro music and feel like the Hoff!
You could try turning your phong settings down a bit on the left. Set the top to like 120 and the bottom to 80 as a starting point, helps to take that white shine down a bit.
Lolz...commenting as an ex-pat kiwi, the statement itself encapsulates 'bureaucratese from downunder' in it's most purest form, ala 80s era halcyon days of unadulterated greed. "sweet as bro..." B)
That sounds very useful, thanks! Would still be a nice QOL improvement for the likely 80% of users who don't know or don't bother or use the software first time and get their first impression
Less extreme the angle, the less acne should show up. Avoid 80-90* angles and aim for more diagonal ones. Also, try playing with Light Cone, it's under the Properties for the Light.
I think he means vert as in vertical. he's talking about this effect dry ice type effect It's going to either look spooky or like an 80's music video :poly121:
There's actually some amazing builds in Secondlife but, much like the internet, the place is 80% porn. The only difference is that while I'm posting on polycount, I can't see my neighbor having cybersex.
Interview for 80 Level site. In this interview I talked about the game production and use of modern techonology, and few other things you may find interesting. Also, here is the new picture!
Dam elitism! Screen capping work is the way forward. I have 80+ gigs of recording's to sort and I'm midi level artist ;D Sure the pros would push Gb's a day
