Nexus Productions are looking for 1 or 2 modeler/texture artists on a freelance basis, starting soon at our London studio. It would be great to see an up-to-date reel, or any stills of your modeling and texturing work. It really doesn't matter how detailed or low-poly. We would be particularly interested in anything that…
Hello, everyone Here is another Warcraft inspired piece I've been working on. I used some restrictions this time; the character has about 10k triangles all together with 2k maps. The character is based off this concept by Samwise Didier. I however changed the design a bit to fit the current look of the tauren in blizzard's…

I think you should also spend a bit more time with the lowpoly and really try to nail it before you move on to applying textures. Right now the proportions aren't lining up with the concept. I'd recommend trying to find this asset, or one like it, in Warcraft or Warhammer and see how it might have been interpreted before.…
It has been waaaaaay too long since i last worked on this. Preparing to move lead to moving, led to settling in, led to World of Warcraft Expansion haha. But I am back to work now and I have replaced all the stone walls i did before. This way I think its miiiiiles better compared to what I was doing before so it was worth…

Thanks for that Keen! Does look a bit small. My idea weren't working really well in ortho, so I did a 3/4 sketch: Still a bit worried I'm forcing a bulkier/epic type design that might be forcing aesthetic choices they didn't want. Wondering if I should just go with a character that better suits my strengths, or continue on…
Starting to think the first ones I did turned out the best. Metal is just really hard, probably because of lighting conditions but also the gold turned out the worst? After the dark rock one? The dark rock just looks to soft and I think that's because of a shitty wonky sculpt, I tried going higher detail than the bright…
In the art guide for Dota 2 (which emulates warcraft 3 [RTS]) they make a good point about texturing, specifically that you should have greater saturation at the top of the character and it should get gradually darker as it travels down towards the ground. Right now the textures look good, but when I popped it open in…
Hey Veronica long time no see! I love the design of your Orc, and it seems to really fit in well with the original world of warcraft style. Only critique I'd have for you is the Axe seems to generic next to the really unique looking armor. More specifically the axe head. But you were on a budget so not going to gripe to…
