The textures themselves are looking nice. If you're going to have the grass be relatively straight take out the 2 horizontal edge loops. Or better yet, make some use out of them and add some bends. I decided not to vert paint because I wanted to keep all the textures on one map, so I just went ahead and fit something together. Yeah, the brush options are a blast and immensely helpful, but IMO there's no substitute for the real world as a base. I mainly use brushes for grunge and grime etc and just use photos for truly convincing things like wood, dirt and other grounds, vegetation, and even caution signs and graffiti (what?
