You can still showcase design skills via kismet. I've seen some crazy student reels using it. But again, gotta be real creative around those limitations.
They've done plenty of demos over the years that seemed to showcase mostly graphics but you'd think there's no need to develop full games considering this engine is one of the most common ones being used out there to make games.
Would showcasing the body underneath in portfolio work, to show that you understand anatomical form and detail, be a good idea? I do delete polygons not visible in my marmoset presentations though.
Actually, here is a turnaround on the JellyBot. I have his overall body and hard surface pieces sculpted out. Also, here is a transparent image showcasing the size of the pilot in comparison to the bot.
I expect they'll throw the video out to the public a week or two after GDC. Epic have releaseed a showcase video every year post-GDC for a few years now.
Not a game specifically but I thought something like Indie Arts would be cool, artbook showcasing art from indie games to give the artists on those projects some credit :D

Nothing really much for that matter. It's just a showcase thread I guess As for the hostilties. It's only against people who have certain rudeness in their tone. It's just something I don't stand for.
