Just seen this topic , hope its pk to revive it after 2years but .... I wanted to ask if you think the dell xps 12 is any good and has active and passive touch screen and if works with wacom digitizers? I would add to that also the samsung ativ q and microsoft surface pro 2 , vaio duo 13. -

I've been loving refBoard, one feature I would really like though is a pen friendly navigation like 3d apps. I try to only use my wacom pen even on secondary monitor and it would be great to be able to zoom with alt-middle click or something similar. Save my wrist from the mouse! -

i coudlnt really see myself using a tablet over my wacom and desktop computer. got a full keyboard for hotkeys, and a high quality tablet, (intuos 3). on top of that there are the other perks of a desktop, such as more ram, better cpu's, 2 large displays so i can sculpt/paint and view references at once etc. -

I don't know about you, but for $1700 I got myself the Fujitsu Lifebook Series T. Powerwise it can't really compare to an Alienware, but god damn the portability of it is SWEEET. I have a wacom tablet, so I guess it's just a matter of learning the techniques. And it's funny. I actually just recently found this! And better yet I found it for free on youtube! Lol. And again, great job with these textures! I love this style/look in games! It just has such a fantastical look about it! Awesome work! :) -

I had the exact same problem and it was because of Vista's built in tablet stuff getting in the way of the Wacom drivers. I'm not using Vista at work so i cant see the specific option names, but if you go through and turn off/disable ALL of the pen/tablet/writing recognition features it may fix the problem. -

cool idea and good work so far. it worked with my mouse although it felt a little wierd and often didnt register when I had released my mouse click and just kept on drawing even though my click was not held down anymore. didnt work with my tablet(wacom graphire) at all. -

Western Union money order; ship it once you collect the funds (no need for exchanging bank info); re: shipping estimate; go to wacom figure out weight and dimensions, then call either fedex or ups for quotes. check with buyer how soon they want it (next day, 2 days, truck vs plane, etc.). -

the only way to fix the problem is to draw more seriously, if you want to improve, and this might sound corny, but take a sketch book around with you and draw draw draw. once you're comfortable with drawing peoples faces it might be time to come back to your wacom, scan in a few sketches and mess about with them in… -

Oh, LAWDY, I could not imagine trying to work in ZBrush without my Wacom. Simply put, there's about ten times the level of control just in the stroke shape alone, let alone the control from pressure, tilt, and so on. If you have ANY form of 2D art experience, that jumps up by another order of magnitude.
