In LW I'd spline it out, then make poly patches. This one I just made a poly cylinder, removed 270 deg of it then added the divot, made a spline to guide it and shaped it. Like 4 minutes.
Considering windows mobile 5.0 has managed DirectX it's not a too much of a strech to imagine we might be seeing this sooner than later. I kinda wonder how battery drain is going to be though.
I bought a herman miller aeron chair for home many years ago and never and haven't had a sore ass since. You can get them used for 500 bucks on craigs list.
Out of curiosity if your going for realism and those miniguns are of the chemicaly propelled projectile variety Where do you store the 500 to 1000 rounds nessesary to fire them for any effective period of time?
well if you just want one of your works done, you can pay only 500 bux... http://www.rabbitholes.com/Artist%20Package/ not that cheap , but better than 3000 just for prep and consultation.
Anyway to force the Shape Splatter node Scale Parameter to go above 5.0? I really like the Splatter Data 1 and 2 you get out of using Shape Splatter but I want my shapes to be bigger argh!
Thanks for the link. I saw in one of the links that a game which is compatible with mobile has 1000 triangles per character which would be 500 polys: How do you do that normally?
Hey guys. Wanted to share my latest work on my Dan & Wesson 500 revolver. Had lots of fun to texture that gun! More screens here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Ka4VOG
Thanks, nice image :) Okay, I remade the tent with an eye to silhouette. Don't look at the texture right now, only trying to make more interesting shapes. 550 tris right now.
depends on the style of your game i guess, but generally i would say "no"? are models with a tricount > 500 overused? is the rampant use of textures instead of simple phong colors really the way to go?
