Yep, I've tried doing that. It's at 0.8 right now. I have tried deleting the ambient light, it's the same result without it, I've tried deleting all lights except the point lights and it's still the same result. :poly127:
i dont know why this conversation is happening considering both that new consoles are coming out and that "massive studios" have been in a financial spiral since like 2008, with the exception of activision which stagnates on wow and cod money.
It really depends more on the version of 3dsmax you're using. 2008-09 have some really great improvements for handling really high numbers of polys, well. pre-08-09 well you're taking your chances...

I know but Maya doesn't use my mipmap level in the 2008 version. It creates itself his own mipmap level. Does it work on your side?? It's working on Unity... but i need to do some debug in Maya!
