In XNA -Z goes into the screen and +Z comes out of the screen. It's right handed coordinates like OpenGL. -

16:10 seems to work well on smaller screen sizes but there isn't much advantage IMO once you get to larger screens. -

for free screen capturing: freez screen capture. I used to use this before discovering the wonders of camtasia. It does what it's supposed to do. -
