I'm planning to do a few [5-10 second] Short Comedy Sketches :: Based on the character from Splintercell, Sam Fisher If your a Character Artist with a bias towards Modeling Cartoony Puppet-like characters [Reference:: below] I think we'll get along great Post a response here or PM me your Details & Portfolio
Echoing what Ruz said, music is such a touchy thing. If the viewer hates your song, instant dislike/bias towards what they're watching. Better to go with subtle ambiance rather than any particular song (sometimes they just mute it as soon as it starts, maybe they're listening to their own music).
hmm, i tried turning down the bias to 0, but the shadow of the turret lifting ring still floats.. and i already added the specular to the gloss slot in that pic.. hmmh. i think that floating shadow is actually an illusion caused by the bright sand i have running off the lifting lug base.
There is so much free stuff it seems insane to spend money on education for this besides some nickles and dimes here and there. The bias that they'll exploit is "if you spend more money, you'll get better results." This just isn't true. How fast you learn 100% comes down to your own habits. Quite a few red flags. FOMO:…
I'm trying to adjust the tangents of my keyframes in the curve editor but none of the presets are working. Smooth, Linear, auto etc. If I right click on a key, I can set the transform Tension Continuity and Bias manually but I can't use the presets for some reason. Anyone know how to fix this? Working with a biped.
Ooh, OK. This seems very interesting. I admit to having a certain bias with this sorta lighting ever since Empire Strikes Back, but you you know what you're doing and I'd rather just wait and see where you take this. You got my attention.
The mips issue should have nothing to do with baking thouhg, only visualization in the viewport. What is the issue exactly? As for fixing the mips, a new update should be coming around mid january and will add anisotropic filtering as well as a mip bias option to force the loading of higher mipmap levels.
WORLD MACHINE TUTORIAL Anatomy of World Machine Nodes Heres a quick description of how a World Machine node works so that this tutorial can make sense. Basically a node is just a box you plug something into and get something new out of based on the calculations of the node you used. Some nodes have an option for providing…
Looking great. The car seems like it's floating above the street a bit. Maybe the shadow bias needs to be adjusted to pull the shadow closer to the car? Or perhaps you could add a soft blob shadow for fake AO, to "ground" it a bit more. Could just be the floaty physics. Looks like a lot of fun.
Wow that opera house looks great! Is it based off of a real place? I remember seeing some concept art for Resident Evil Zero of a theater that never made it into the game, but couldn't google it so I was wondering if you maybe based it off that. *looks at own avatar* mmm nope, no bias, not at all >_> <_<
