Really nice work! At 2 minutes the reel is rather on the long side but you have a lot of detail to show so it should be fine. I love that you didn't just stick the gunship to a turn-table but gave it a simple environment. The site is easy to navigate, clean and the gallery thumbnails are big enough. As mentioned earlier I…
ah I see. You should of taken the link out of your signature or edited it to avoid confusion! Fail re-enabled! I don't like these little arrows, they keep moving position due to the different sized images. It would be better if all images were equal size, or if the arrows were permanently on the left and right sides of the…
The tops is more rounded, the sides are thinner and the eyes hole looks a bit different. Check the size of the sides too, maybe they re a bit too big. Also, your model seems a bit too broad for me.. the other one is a tad longer in vertical. Nose guard it also seems long to me... Hope it helps you :)
I must have been living in a cave, but I just discovered that you can link you blog to your flickr account, and upload images with a post directly to your website. Since a load of peole he have websites and want to display art, this might be very useful. Create a free account, upload you artwork (and categorise it to a…
@Fronk3D Congrats and welcome to Polycount! I probably should also learn Blender, and make the legendary Blender Donut XD. Regarding your rough blockout, it might be a bit too wide overall. Your wooden posts can also either be too wide or just right depending on which wooden partition you look at, but at least…
I am not familiar with gamebyro so I can't give you much help there. I was going to suggest using UDK but seeing as there are others involved I am guessing you have already all decided on gamebyro. Overall the lighting is very dark in the scene and it appears that you have some texture stretching with the brick texture…
ah cheers for the site! I generally use 3DSK I've been using photo reference throughout but tried to adjust the face more to my own preference which was probably a bad idea in the long run so doing side by sides against photo reference has only been so helpful :/
Istonia: It slides surrounding loops towards and away from the selection. It's perfect for tweaking the hardness of sub-d edges! If you have one loop selected it moves the surrounding two loops in or outwards. If you have two loops selected side by side, it does the same thing as if there was another edgeloop inbetween…
Its actually free just have to fill long registration form To get models out I used adobe acrobat pro and Tetra4D Converter trail versions work but you might find a easier way https://www.eva.mpg.de/evolution/downloads.html Side note : You could check this site , it contain a lot of useful reference like x-rays CT/MRI…
Thank you for the welcomes everybody. I feel very welcome here even though I am a terrible 3d artist. Chimp ~ Thanks for the advice! I don't think I will switch to Maya or 3DS max because I am a big believer in open source software, and I am also an indie developer. Blender is more compatible for collaborations with other…
