Hey guys, so it was a close call, and of course there was more I was hoping to do (that's deadlines, for ya!), but I'm still very satisfied with the end results. Allow me to present my final new bloom entires. The first is with the talented fudgiewudgie. Fudgie had approached me and was all like 'YO MOTHAFUCKA LETS KICK…
NothingHappens, not sure if you are also posting on the UDK forums, but it may be a good place to get additional info for some more script oriented questions! Support, Tips, and Advice http://forums.epicgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=372
@beefaroni: I speak mostly from personal experience here. I had a 550w PSU and it worked fine until I paired it with a 3770 and 980, slightly lower wattage than the combo being discussed here. It was a quality brand, 80+ efficient PSU that I never had any problems with, but when I swapped my 770 for the 980 it would BSOD…
Get a 770 or 780 and save your self a lottttt of money. Both of these cards are way faster for anything game related (realtime shaders, unreal 4 or marmoset toolbag), and will run Max etc just fine. Also don't get a Titan, anything past a 780 represents a really poor value (unless you do a lot of CUDA stuff or something).…
Hey Anuxi, could I get my promo image swapped out to this one? http://media.steampowered.com/apps/570/icons/econ/sets/dota_item_the_battle_caster_set_large.37a01e6b5b9555fa0e9d8e5a071a0aa2088d2915.png
GTX460 and higher or equivalent Radeon card. I've no experiences with ATI cards, but my previous card was a Quadro 3700FX; and while I felt a slight increase in performance viewport wise (the thing could handle a LOT of polygons), it can't handle texture swapping all that good, so playing games with it wasn't exactly all…
Yeah, I saw a link to that concept somewhere and thought I should make that one day. It seems that place was Polycount. I acctually considered doing this but I was going to wait until I was mostly done with the modelling phase and then see if it was necessary. Now I know it wasn't a bad idea, thanks. Yeah, I see how it…
as for long working hours i remember some ex colleagues who complained about our contractual 37.5 hour work weeks in the UK. at their various previous studios (big name ones back then, too) they were used to ... 35 hours per week. which translates to friday afternoons spent in the pub. ;)
Well that is sad. I need to use exact driver version: 378.92 This is how it looks for me EDIT: Updated to R381.65 still no luck. This driver is from April, not that old. I'm on Win 8.1 x64 Substance Painter can use it just fine. Also iRay also works in Substance Designer 5.6.2. So only 2017 have problems on my PC.
