small update. scratch the "wires with lamps hanging" idea. doesnt give a nice illumination, and feels awkward. there you have the scene as of today. added: sheriff building, wheat sacks, "thing where you knot your horse at", lamps, alpha planes with sand/plants, tweaked ligthing. stuff yet to be done: foliage rocks… -

Asylum: "You could probably put a lot more polys into those buildings..." - I was hoping you would say that! The plowed field is actually the terrain mesh you see near the foreground as it goes into the distance, before getting reduced where the background hills are (it's a waste, huh). I should just cut out the middle… -
Modular pieces with curves
Railing, Tracks, Highways, fencing etc. Any tips or tricks to building sets of curved items so they work nicely on a grid? -
