I agree w/ what $inz said, The bottom feels a little out of place. I'd suggest some more leaf work on the side of the gun near the hammer to solidify the style. Also I'd rework some of the topo to really get those smooth curves. It feels like you've got a bit of wasted geometry here.
Anyone know any good drawing courses or what not online? Looking into something for the end of the year / autumn-ish to do after work and such. Prefferebly something that hammers in the basics in a good way so you can continue learning on your own. I'm looking into gnomons dvds atm but it would be nice with a living person…
I think you captured the look perfectly. Im not a fan of the texture you used on the hammer. Just seems like noise. Maybe you can make him look more menacing cause right now he's not too terrifying. Hes bad ass, just not throwing Sam Gamgee around kind of scary.
Not too shabby. Take the first half of Iron Man 1 and add the second half of Iron Man 2 and you'd have a heckuva superhero movie. Highlight to me was Hammer's sales pitch for "The Ex-Wife" Oh and that trailer for Super 8. Neat-o :) Crap I KNEW there was a bonus at the end of the credits. Was it worth waiting for ?
Glad you decided on it. I'm normally hammered in Pivo (just off the east end of Princes Street, opposite the Thistle Hotel) by 8pm 3 nights a week. Just ask the barmaid where the Rockstar folk are at. Buy us beer and we will love you. If you want a heads up on finding a flatshare: http://www.clickflatshare.co.uk/Edinburgh/
I definitely see what you mean. Thanks for the feedback I will tweak those stuff. :) I kinda feel there is detail missing on it. Those patterns on the hammer where your thump is suppose to be and the "cilynder thing" also has that pattern. What is the best way to add those? My thoughts are Zbrush or just add them in the…
Me and my mate have done this before! We set it down every so often so we could have somewhere to sit and smoke! As for crazy, I used to have a bad habbit of scaling high buildings when I was hammer-drunk. I once climbed up to the top of the National Gallery in Edinburgh, beautiful view!
Mad rush for finish mode! Decided I really wanted to do a weapon, spent last couple of nights War...hammering it out, so really sorry for the lack of updates, just been bashing away at it :x Tommorow! Fix scale (Why are the imported weapon scales wrong :c), Blood! and finishing up to package and hand in... urf.
Hi Ayhankin! Congratulations for your work! I have just a few considerations regarding two things, on his feet maybe you should work a little better on the shapes, looks too spherical to me, and about the hand holding the hammer, looks too tight, as the cilynder was not there to be hold... Regarding the colors and the…
Looking good! It's not quite a fictional firearm. Matebas were produced from late 90s up to 2005. You'd want to lower the upper flares of the grips to make room for the recoil mechanism. The entire upper frame, barrel and cylinder recoils about 12mm to cock the hammer after each shot. [ame]…
