Nice, i see a lot of potential there. Is it possible to make online multiplayer games with that engine?? I think that would be very cool, a multiplayer shooter that really requires teamwork with tactics. Currently i find it very hard to make use of controlling single characters because there are so many enemies coming at… -
Re: Zbrush character to animation general question
Character won't be changing armor, my only main concern is Retopology, I mean rigging needs a specific type of topology(or thats what I think, i am noob). If I can retopo with the armor attached as one, it would save me the hassle of separating mesh. -

Go with Tabi-shoes for heavier armored samurai, or go with raised sandals for wanderer style. Kabuki/mempo (helmet/faceplate) is going for armored. If you're looking "sleeker" it's ninja that you are looking for. Also look into street-sam art from shadowrun, you'll hit that cyber-punk genre. -

Awesome character! I really like the armor and the face ... I think you maybe could use more assimetry for the armor ... maybe diferents details in one side to give more natural feeling. Great job! Keep going. I cant wait to see where it goes! -

overall i like it alot, but im worried about the silhouette. id suggest giving the different armor pieces more dimension like his right shoulder pad. also, and youre probably planning this, adding armor over the rest of his body would be good lookin good! -

Yah, the armor could use a redesign. Right now it kind of just looks like a welcome mat sitting on his shoulders. Leather armor usually has a lot more layers and segments for the sake of strength, flexibility, and looking cool. As well as straps, stitches, buttons, and other fun details to sculpt holding all together. -

Today's progress, prepared the chest armor and the leather armor for print, added keys, thickness and checked each objects for errors, as a side note i'm really liking the booleans in zbrush, the produce very clean results compared to dynameshing objects together. Started to prep the arms and will finish them tomorrow… -

Though I have to say shoulder movement wearing that armor seems awfully limited. What are you using to retopo? I want to try to find something beyond Zremesher and Maya's tools, but from what I've seen it's a slow painful task no matter what the workflow. -

I actually preferred your first past textures before you redid the armor in substance. Honestly, all of the armor just looks like flat colors to me. Your first render of the textures had way better looking metals. In any case, while not bad, I still think the face could use work.
