I have a Lenovo laptop that's lasted me 3 years so far and will still run smoothly http://gaminglaptopunder1000.org/best-cheap-gaming-laptops-under-500-dollars/
whats the best tool (around $500) for texture painting (both low and high poly, mainly for organic stuff but also hardsurface and others)? i have ZBrush, can't afford Mari.
It shouldn't be too hard to get a new card. I'm running maya, max, mudbox, and zbrush perfectly fine on a Radeon 5770, which goes for between $120 and $140 now days.
sniper who can kill you from 500 yards or guy with a big toothpick who can kill you from 5inches... hmmm.... guns. if you'd said LIGHTSABRES...no contest...
Someone posted this on my xp64 thread : That's $170 for xp64 from amazon.com I don't know if you can call it cheap, but personally i'm using the uh, "student edition" for now.
hehe, i know, but they NECs are very expensive as you said :D The hp lp2475w is around 550 euros, and the 24"-25,5" Necs around 1100 euros. Almost the double :D .
Save the thread! went to the Redbull knockout beachrace this week, unbelievable, 500 riders on one track = hardcore awesomeness! more pics this week, btw, those pics look great guys
Its a combination of two values. Intensity and Exposure. I go with a light intensity of 500 and do increase the exposure step by step until i get a soft light. Than i go back and play with intensity.
So AMD just showed their new GPUs, and the 6900XT is apparently just as fast as a 3090, smaller, uses less energy, and costs $1000 (so $500 less then a 3090). Looking good for team red.
The texture was all hand made and it took me 4 hours so ill keep to it.Trust me,in the engine where ill use this model,500 polys is just right,1000 is a bit high.
