did my best an im happy with it so far the skin needs more work but the overall look for that is good the white is yet to be textured only gold and skin where having a test and came out great for my first time. Total poly count 25k
Hi guys :) This is my first high poly character (25k polys), made just for portfolio. I'm still working on her textures and in lighting. I think there is something weird about her gauntlets and the staff, but I can't find out where is the problem. What do you think so far?
PlasmaGun model, one 4k set, 25k Tris, мodeling, uv, rig, animation - blender, textures - substance, render - marmoset. More shots you can see at artstation. Concept by Eldar Safin. Hope u like it, thx :)
How poly-heavy is that scene/character? I still work at home with my ancient GeForce 250 and 6 Gbs of Ram and use all the applications with no issues whatsoever. I'm building a new and more powerful rig this year though.
if you see a repetitive pattern in your concept then that's when you should consider going modular. for example in my block out i modeled my bridge as one piece of 256 units length and used it to build the whole bridge.
The grey gallant seems to do this, But i'm not sure if it was just modeled on top of the original beard and hair, I remember a bug where the original beard would stick out. http://www.dota2.com/store/itemdetails/20787?r=258
I'm trying to decide on a decent IPS for ~$250, either 24 or 27 inch. I've narrowed it down between the Dell U2414h and the Asus MX279H but I'm having trouble deciding. Does anyone have experience with these or have any suggestions?
