I can't understand the workflow of this tool. If it was really designed by artists for artists....those artists like clicking too many buttons. I did this in MEL, and mine takes shells into account as well. If Crystal Dynamics didn't own it, I'd share it for free. -R -

Yep, WASD with default game keys. Some people are better shots than I am, but I've yet to see anyone outmaneuver me in most games. In COD1, people would say I was hacking because of my ridiculous kill totals (there were a lot of hackers, but I play clean). That is, until they'd spectate me and see me crouch jump out of… -

Next thing I would do is duplicate the problem mesh, delete history, do a humanIK quick bind and then export that and test it in engine. If that works correctly, then you know the problem has to do with the mesh itself rather than the import/export process. If this is true, then I'd probably start by copy the current skin… -

[Maya] Is there a hotkey/script for the Color Set Editor? (vertex colors)
Can there be hotkeys for these two things? I hate opening this menu and clicking 4-8 times. I've already looked at what my MEL window says when I click these two things, nothing shows up for me to copy and paste into a hotkey. -

This must be the only ever thread I saw about Subdivision surfaces on polycount. I for one am glad they retired them since they didn't continue evolving that concept either way. The SplitPolygonTool is still available by command yeah. Just run SplitPolygonTool as a MEL command :) -

Try checking out the rivet .mel script. I dont have a direct link since im on a tablet rite now, but i believe its on creativecrash. I use it on a daily basis for pretty much exactly what you need it for, its a life saver -
