I think something died inside of me... Anyway, loved the game ( maybe a litle too easy, go harder on the next one ! ), and absolutely love the art. As an env student, this is pure gold !
Hey, i'm trying to write a custom .env file using xml that could be able to store more information than the .env file so far everything works, I managed to save the skin into an xml and load it back However i'm not really happy with the loading part pipeline. In order to get the weights loaded correctly I have to:…
Thanks you all for your kind words and compliments about our work on Dishonored, it is really rewarding to see our art appreciated. @Kevin Johnstone : Thank you ! Your env work is awesome ! @BoBo_the_seal : Thank you ! you and your team did a great great job on DarkSider, so inspirational ! @sltrOlsson, @yodude87, @Makkon…
skayne: thanks! Ok, so I got it in to UDK and did 2 quick lighting setups. Isn't this for the env test that Ankama was sending around for Slage (the floating islands with the portal)? I like how you did the lighting, with the warm light coming from the bottom ^^ Great work
hi man, take a look at this thread, http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=138201&highlight=Witch+House someone already did this env, you should try to make it better.
The env break down, and showing your kit, is hugely helpful. Really cool to see how others approach building large hero assets like this in game, especially with modular bits.
