Thank you so much to the both of you for taking the time to look through my stuff! And thank you for the encouragement ;A; @Ashervisalis My main inspirations are artists like Jasmin Habezai-Fekri (https://www.artstation.com/curlscurly), I like to look a lot at what Airborn Studios is putting out, actually. I guess I don't…
The best example I can think of is this: Question: How can I quickly add loops? Right now I am clicking Cut and than add the edges click for click. Answer A: Oh that is really time consuming, clicking that button, you can just use alt+c for the Cut-Tool. Answer B: Wow that is crazy, you can just select a edge in a ring use…
I'd use shift double click on the next edge to select the edge ring instead of going around the object and selecting each one individually.... But in Maya, it's all called the same as it is in max. In the connect tool you have segment number and pinch/slide just like max/ Side note : even in Max what that person is doing…
It depends what you want. If I wanted the studs to look welded/molded to the surface of that bottom ring and what you are making is a sub D high poly. I would make them floaters. It's not a hassle to cut them in as you have done either but I would have probably used less poly in doing so, making the cylinders just 8…
I am going to do another weapon and helmet over this next week. It will be a knights helmet and a polehammer. Don't have much to show but here I have a couple of pictures. This should be fun!
Hey all, first time posting here. This is a piece I just recently finished inspired by Godzilla vs. Kong. I did all the sculpting and retopo in Blender and all the texturing in Substance. I used 14 2K UDIMs to get enough resolution, as well as some tiling pores over the top of that. The eyes are from Flipped Normals eye…
First in a series of images called "Box Fort" where childhood dreams are fully realized. This is the sledding hill I always wanted to build... House models are made from pieces in the fantastic Suburban Neighborhood kit on the Unity Asset…
Since Noel would only post some of his plant models and whatnot if I started a thread about plants and whatnot, here yah go! Figure it'd be nice to have a thread dedicated to plants and small organic things and whatnot. Let's see it guys and gals! (...and I'll have some of my own stuff to post here as well soon enough!)
Foley is such a rewarding and fun thing to do in sound design, especially when making impacts or just experimenting! It brings an entirely different side to how I perceive things around me because now its all about, "I wonder how this would sound if I hit it really hard?" Even if you're not in sound design, it might be…
Windows 8.1 works fine and is meant for all. Having used both 7 and 8. I prefer 8. It boots faster, works with Multi Monitors easier, shows transfer speed graphs when working with files, USB 3.0 native support, and best? The click ring icon when attempting to use a wacom in a 3d program no longer happens. So I can go back…
