Heard That! (reason I got a cooler pad for mine B) ) Man, you're full throttle really lovely work whilst at the other end of the spectrum, I'm still faffing about project concept ref - scope - narrative - tech parameters yaddayadda... and yet to post an update, too. Oh well looks as though I'll be taking hefty advantage of…
Not really, I do have real phoographic reference for some elements but a lot of the outfit is based off other stylized games. I am relying a bit on suspension on disbelief, but if theres any thing you notice please do let me know
Hey everyone. Hopefully I get to finish this one. I'm planning on a protoss survivor. Somehow this dude was left behind but survived the zerg. It's a very loose idea. So I'll be doing a lot of experiments on zbrush. Lots of predator reference since they are cool af. I hope I'm not off on the rules.
took me touching it on and off for a year i think before it really clicked for me. Though now it seems kinda simple, its basically blender geo nodes or unreal blue prints on steroids. Start simple but make something useful or fun too you. Maybe a setup where you can generate edge damage on a mesh, a simple cloth sim, or…
Thanks lamb! I based it off of Faf's workflow for the tileable textures http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=125737 I applied it on geometry to cut it off. For now, the latest image was to show where I am right now. It wasn't intended to give that plastic look, so I'll most likely adjust the materials as I go…
The bottom image has a lot more complex details like the trim above the second storey windows, and the column capitals. If you feel confident in your abilities to pull off those kinds of details, I'd say go for that.
It is more worthwhile to invest the time into yourself than into LLM. LLM is a service currently being offered to you for free. Let's investigate this. Currently AI data centres consume ~2% of all the power on earth. Trillions of dollars are being spent giving you a service which is 100% free. You are giving it your time…
Lots of proportions on smaller parts feel off, like a lot of pistons and cylindrical joint are too thin and too small. The hind limbs are completely different in the concept. Front guns also look different. I'm not sure I would have changed the rocket launcher, I see your refs for it but the concept is different. Hope this…
Hi! I love Destiny 2, so im looking forward to seeing how cool you can make this. As far as critique goes, do you have a purref or something where you can have your references all put together? I would suggest not only looking at a bunch of destiny references but also real life references to help your cave feel grounded…
Have you tried, ni no kuni? if I had been a kid when that was released It'd have been my FF7 (which incidentally I played at 7/8 so it might also be one to consider in 6 months or a year. your kids seem to understand that games are not real which is I think one of the main elements of knowing when to start introducing…
