Hey just looking for some good sites and sources for images of jet engines without their outer casings on. Similar to the images circling around from Zbrush about a year back. Thanks in advance.
Are you talking about a CATMotion layer? There is a button below the layer manager that looks like a green circle with a cat paw in the middle of it. Click that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CavWZIierns
For your last highpoly work check this script: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/loop-regularizer I use it every time when edgeloop needs to be a perfect circle
Day Two started with the texture this time, it worked kinda, I need to improve my use of color. also everything is super square next time more circle stuff.
How you did this "circles" for screw holes ? http://screenshooter.net/1755150/22_08_2012__19_27_14 http://screenshooter.net/1755150/22_08_2012__19_27_14 Are you doing them in Maya ? Can you show it plz ?
Collada is sort of a 4 letter word around here in the coder circles. I'm not entirely up on the reasons why, but I know it doesn't get a lot of love from that side...
Hmm... in real life, the circle logos aren't stickers, so the way they're peeling off is a bit strange. Can't fault anything else though, loving watching this thread.
I think you have a Random circle impact towards the end, i might just be seeing things though. But other than that it looks really smooth and awesome :D
great tip, thanks! another convenient graphite tool i couldn't live without is set flow / flow connect. the loop tools (especially "circle") are very convenient as well.
Thanks I have this though. Are both pieces flat? Cause on one of my references it's a circle, and the upper piece has the flat part. I am a bit confused now.
