You can preload now on steam. Whats funny... is that it starts to load it, but it has no reference to how big the install is. It's been downloading for a while and i have 1.2%, so it sounds about right that its 35 gigs... the connection here is really fast. Man, AMT Mesh Blend 1.1 plugin has issues with saving meshes in the Floating Assets Library. For some unknown reason it keeps randomly deleting some of my meshes i saved. It's super frustrating!
