im pretty sure Xoliuls 1.6 is supposed to render as far as i know. http://www.laurenscorijn.com/viewportshaderfaq on his faqs it describes solutions to it, but the only thing i can come up with is that i don't have a supportive videocard :/
Because your diffuse is almost solid black. Replace it with a constant 0.5 or rgb 128 (solid neutral gray), and test. Also, try setting your dominate directional like to 1.5 or 5 brightness. And type ToggleHUD in the console.
Look into the 12v rails, they have a maximum output for each one. I've seen 1000w PSU's that are grossly underpowered. Underwpowered for power hungry videocard setups. Although it would kick ass on a moderate setup and a nice WC kit.

Setting the "Maximum Texture Resolution" to "Custom" in the viewport render settings, and reducing the max resolution to something low (128-ish) worked for me. Seems to be a video card memory issue (i'm on an old Mac).
the student versions from Autodesk and quixel are non commercial only. The Marmoset team as it seems wants you to actually being able to earn money with their product. the pricetag of $129 is for a student in my opinion ok.
Progress on the Low Polys. At the moment they are all in the 19-20k tri range.(Besides the Marksman which is 12k tris, without the gilli. Still gotta make that :poly142:) Its still WIP of course :D .
I also thought the lax security was a little odd, but then I figured that the group was well within the sights of any security hidden from sight. I still have to read 119 through 123.
