nice tutorial, but uvmap of model not the best example how to make them(lots of wasted pixels) anyway, tut was about texturing, and you did it nice. thx
HAHA! Awesome! I have no clear stance on the issue...it doesn't bother me. But, I believe it's time for other nations of the world to start setting an example for America.
Thank you Alex! I have done experiments with nanite and decided not to use this time for two reasons. The first one is that for thin geometry, in this case grass strands for example, the rendering gets very noisy as you get further away from the foliage. The rendered polygons get so thin that it can't be rendered well.…
A Sea of Thieves skeleton sculpt made in Zbrush. I saved a clean version of the sculpt so that you guys can make you're own version if you want. I made a cracked skull pierced by a sword as an example :) https://hungryluma.gumroad.com/l/SOTSkull

Like there's an example, this is a low exposure photo of a dancer, there's these smooth sweeping motions, and I can't even wrap my head around how one start to model this.... Like what would you do after having keyframes? do you think this is possible? I'm well versed in multiple software, but i'm unsure if any are able to…
The renders above look like poser art, which is to say purchased assets put together to form an image. There is nothing wrong with that, but you have to be pretty good to pull it off. The difference in the quality of the figure and background makes the images jarring to look at. It looks like the model doesn't belong in…
The way you took all the feedback, critique and suggestions on board and improved your work is impressive. Great example of taking it on the chin and moving forward. @ftsmith you will go far.
For example changing the color of my selected guides? I know the way with painting a region map and then coloring the guides with that, but is there another way? Just curious it would help me slightly..Thanks anyway!
Also depends on where you live, no use for a 3d game weapons artist in a country with no core game industry for example. Probably better to generalise in that case.
