That to me reeks of a delta animation. Delta animations are where it only encodes partial information about the movement so you can reload while walking etc. Can I see your QC file as that's hugely important to how your animation is loaded into the model?
As soon as I rig something, I always entertain myself by loading up some of the stock animations that came with max 7. never ceases to amuse me. Good luck animating. I've learned how to rig and pose and all that, but my animation skills are horrible.
IMO polycount will always matter and good topology flow will always matter. Until further developments are made to handle and work with limitless amounts of polys, as well as rig, animate and texture map nanite assets, I don't see nanite as a useful function. Also why would a game developer want to bloat their game file…
Did they give this to the teaboy to animate? Ugh. The atmosphere is great, massively let down by the total sub-par and possibly even a generation behind in animation.
appears to be korean (spoken), very cool! Koreans are the true masters at animation these days, although animation like this is probably worked on by at least 50+ staff.
