I thought it would be more interesting to do a beat-up, just-killed-mother-brain-and-escaped-the-exploding-planet version instead of a clean one. Wanna fight about it? Although, once I finish I could hammer together a clean version in a couple minutes by just mirroring stuff.
easy! And I'm fucking hammered! Kevin Costner was in Waterworld with Dennis Hopper who was in true romance with christopher walken, who was in the wedding crashers with vince vaughn, who was in Dodge ball with Ben Stiller who was in Empire of the sun with a very young christian bale. I dont kno if rhat was 6 or nto.
@oglu just saw your Video "Zombi" on Artstation where you use Dynamic Tesselation, it is just great! Einfach Hammer! ;-D @amaury so you banned dynamesh? :D what does your ways to work with it look like? How do you keep yourself off to going to fast into details?
Ok awesome thanks i deffinatly agree. I kept looking at it last night till the point where i became frustrated because i didnt know what to change. but that helps thanks man. Oh what 3d application do you model in. I saw your hammer it looks great.
Got this falchion sword hammered out Monday and Tuesday. LOD0 ended up being only about 2k triangles, so that's nice. Starting the last weapon, a bladed mace, this morning. I'll probably do LOD side-by-sides after the mace is done. More pictures on ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/WGkEv
The way you have them modeled so far; how it wraps around the handle it looks like they are individual strands instead of 1 or 2 straps of leather. The pic of the handle on the hammer, the way its wrapped compared to yours..if you can get that overlap sculpted like that, it will help sell your handle also.
Started my first industry job a bit after my last post :D ! Haven't updated this guy in awhile on here but I've been hammering away slowly. Currently working on the texture pass and getting the colors down. I am going for a more grounded earthy feel to solidify the forest archer feel.
Working more on the outside, got some vegetation in and working on hammering out this willow, which has been a chore. Starting to work more seriously on the lighting (not my strongest suit) can anyone speak to some advice in that area? Notice anything that's really off? Especially looking for critique on the willow, does…
i dont think drugs make you more creative. What i do think is that alcohol and drugs can make you relax and not worry so much about what others might think and you just play. This is to a certain limit tho, once you are hammered everything turns to shit anyway :)
ok so i've have reworked his hands completely. Need to work on his face and head mostly now, and then the body should be close to finished. going oto move on and build his main hammer know so i have all the parts assembled. Crits and comments very welcome thanks
