Thanks for the rep. Lamont. Heres a higher res. http://www.scumworks.com/otr/conceptart/bow.jpg I realize these things gets easier with practice, just sucks redoing the same piece over and over because you aight satisfied.
looking much better. My point is youve neglected all the transisions, there is almost nothing between the breasts and the neck, and there is almost nothing between the breasts and the hip. there is a lot more to a woman then a head with breast and an ass :) to your credit it looks a lot better in the 2D conceptart. overall…
I can do characters, creatures and vehicles but Im not amazing at concepting so I would really like to team up with someone that can provide awesome conceptart thats doable in a reasonble amount of time. I can pass on the xb1/ps4 and I already got the Quixel suite. Im in it for the glory :)
Conceptart.org has a net-sketch setup, or used to. I don't know if its still running. I don't think the new versions of OpenCanvas have network capabilities. 11b72 or 11b68 can be found online or downloaded from the conceptart IRC channel. Uni-Verse plugin looks pretty interesting too.
I completely missed this hello-thread requirement.-I mainly signed up for Quixel-suite support, but who knows. Edit: BTW I've been in the games industry for 8-ish years doing environments, conceptart and marketing-assets.
Start drawing as well if you can. It will really help reading conceptart when you better know what the artist was thinking with his lines. And even if there are areas you don't understand you will be better equipped to fill them in yourself.
That fat guy on the chair is unbelievable, these ideas are so original as well. Like even the first one being something you'd see a lot has been made original with key features like that crazy face and those funky eyebrows. Don't think anyone would disagree with your work making it on to ConceptArts top row!
Haha yeah this is indeed a scary country I like it tho! A Netherland PC meeting would be great. And it's cool to feel at home with P and F taking care of stuff. KP, I'll try to see how the conceptart dudes enjoy pinkish and purple tones, sure thing! Hmmm okay got some UVing to do NOW!
some of the conceptart is by adam paquette , don't really know if he's in the team but i doubt it also the ugly homemade logos and text added to some images give away the lack of compositional skills http://adampaquette.blogspot.com/2009/03/28-fat-post.html
That's one benefit I think that competitions have. Smaller ones especially. Look at the great art that the Domwars have brought up in the past. The Brawl competition. The various minis on GA. Conceptart has those Creature of the Week ones, where it resets once a week.
