try running this when you first fire up maya, its the easiest hack (if it is the same problem) source "GoZScript"; weve had a few issues with the goz environment not starting correctly due our scripts setup. (maya 2015 though)
I do find that Spielberg quote quite disheartening to be honest. It's a bit like saying that books suck because they are printed on paper and that's limiting. Now of course there's great things to be done with immersion and VR. But an Occulus is not going to write a good script by itself.
You can align them at the same time on X and then on Y, making it pretty close. You can do it either with Textools (older script, might work), or with polyunwrapper (paid). Not sure how you do it without any external plugins.
So an action/script that for each frame in an animation... * Copies the input image in entirety or by layer groups. * Opens a template document with your pattern layers ready to go. * Pastes into each layer mask, adjusting the colors for each tonal range. * Profit?
WIP, been working on some Python scripts to speed up my workflow and reworked the shading network. Also been thinking about the color value/tones and im personally preferring the red body and blue 'eyes'. Hope y'all like!
To fix this problem you need to upscale your mesh with (size in deformation panel) I do an upscale of 800 and run the script, after just need to do a -800 to go back to is original size. It's seems to be a problem with the size of your mesh.
In pre-2017 versions unwrap uvws selection is rubbish. But in 2017 Adesk have finally implemented a more uniform approach to unwrap selections. personally, I use Miauu's script Easypeel as it allows selection the way it should always have been.
I hardly use shortcuts while I work so just clicking works for me. I am more of a mouse/tablet person than keyboard. Can't someone come up with a script for this or its gonna be impossible to do so.
can you tell blender to export the Smoothinggroups/Hardedges but NOT the normals? You certainly can in max, this way you get the equivalent of Smoothinggroups from Max inside Maya. Another option would be a script that turns locked normals into hard edges.
Yeah I hate having clip plane issues If your preferences aren't working, perhaps echo all commands in the script editor and make a shelf button out of the step you take to fix the camera? At least then it would be the click of an icon.
