whats driving the reflection map? never used the 3point shader before. is it just using 0-1 b/w values to determine how much reflectivity to give? the emissive is looking slightly washed out.. maybe by the spec it looks like. but it basically looks like you're losing some of the saturation from the emissive map. other than…
I improved my first flame Pugna set concept, should I add a ward and weapon? Also tried modelling Razor head B.. not so sure. I think my modelling skills are improving(????) but I still miss important parts of the design sometimes which Id have to go back and edit if I wanted to take this further
I tried... And failed. I have three possible solutions. A. Just slow down and do more of what I was doing in the critfail pic until it gets there. B. Model the horn in 3d, paste it in, paint over it. Gets shit done. C. Change the design. Use simpler shapes. Bite off what you can chew, essentially. -kp
I would say Twisty, go the opposite route, focus on the main shapes and forget about detail for now. Make it look intresting. Look for referenses that inspire you and make something that A. looks intresting B. somewhat functional When you got that down start focus on details. You can never save a model with a poor basic…
i am in complete agreeance with Vig. i would recommend staying away from high intensity (colored or b/w) backgrounds for your renders. there is a lighting script on scriptspot ( http://www.scriptspot.com/scripts/web_upload/Alexandre%20OLIVEIRA/New%20E-light%202.0a.ms ) i use that script with a simple 3-point scheme and i…
I mean, it's not really a competition, most Starcraft fans are angry because they wanna watch both but the fact that a) Blizzard scheduled 3 major Starcraft tournaments on the same day making it nigh impossible to watch them all and b) TI3 is the biggest eSports event EVER makes TI3 the default winner. It's not as much of…
@c0ldhands Good question. I wouldn't be able to tell you why exactly that was changed, but in general as with most games many things can change over its life time in development. Bunch of cool little things about Sing were posted by Game Informer here:…
Turn off sRGB for your Gloss texture, plug a lerp node with the A value of 1 and a B value of 0 and use your Gloss as your alpha. Bonus of this is that you have more control over the value range inside of Unreal, so if you need to cap your Roughness value you can do so by changing 0 to .1, etc.
Yeah, maybe a bit of a tangent but, when you're figuring out your rate as a freelancer you need to consider: A. What your need to live on (base rate) B. Hardware cost C. Software cost D. Taxes E. Retirement F. Health insurance G. Downtime So all that factors into what you need to charge a client for work.
I did not like the movie much at all. Furthermore, the use of the word b*tch, twice directed at young girls, was poor judgement on the part of the writers. One girl was probably age 15 and the other maybe 10 years old. In addition, they had one of the young girls call the naught a d*ckhead. This use of profanity really…
