What? You don't get the same result using smoothing groups. You can do a turbo smooth by smoothing groups and then a normal turbo smooth, but if you do that you are adding extra edges in areas you might now want. If you mean something else, show an actual example.
this is why you shouldnt always model zoomed in because when you zoom out you see its too aliased, i drew an edge flow that would help you out with that and you could tighten the edgeloops to your liking :
