drillerkiller - interesting little study you did, nice amount of detail and form for only 2 hours quick head sculpt from zsphere around 1.5 hours and another one
Here are a few sketches I've done over my lunch hour at work. I've also included a link to the time-lapses because I wasn't able to embed - Day 2 crashed on me so I don't have a vid for that one unfortunately. EDIT: Just going to ammend my post to avoid doubleposting, the dino is the most recent work. Spent 2 hours on this from a sphere. Not sure if 3 hours counts as speed-modelling but it was quick for me.
First attempt at 3d head sculpting (I've done some rocks and shapes but that's it). I guess I've spent about 2-3hrs on this fish/man hybrid; started from the default head in mudbox.
I'm so intimidated by this thread and the awesomeness in it. I don't know how you guys can sculpt some of these models in 1-2 hours. Anyway, here's something that's related to a prop I'm making for work. Sculpted from a flat plane in about 3 hours. 3 1/2 hours if you count the 30 minutes I lost because i forgot to save and…
@ ENODMI: Awesome sculpt! A freestyle from me. I have not done too many animals so thought I would crack out a birdy. about 2 hrs but a lot of that was spent placing the feathers.
am new to zbrush (bout 2 weeks on and off i think) but seem to be enjoying it more than normal modeling :) but here are some quick sculpts. and a quick one i did just now before bed
Just playing round with some of zbrushs tools. Zbrush 4rb comes with a great hair fiber mesh tool but as I was using an older version I've just really simply used zspheres. Took 2 hours to complete.
ha...just discovered this thread. I have tons of these scattered across my hard drive. I'll start with this one(Psylocke) from last week. Spent about 2 hours from a generic base I built.
Been an age since I have even touched a 3d app, so decided to start with some sculping practice seeing as its always been a weak area for me. About 2 hours tinkering with the Zbrush default male head.
