Fun and very impressive for a browser game, but far too "microtransactiony" for my tastes. Damn near everything in the game requires payment of some sort. I don't mind item malls and the such, but paying to enter a dungeon? No thanks. :/
Serge Birault (AKA papaninja) has announced the winner of the facebook comp. Was fun watching. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Serge-Birault-PapaNinja/217144088320217 Winner: Antropus (Krishnamurti Martins Costa) Honorable mentions: Cheresmin D Yinxuan LI Dezarmenien
Definitely NSFW for 99% of the places, but pretty fun to watch in a weird sort of way: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvkWhGVNky4[/ame] Kinda surprised they're allowing this kind of stuff on youtube. Kudos to them for not being old prunes about this.
They had many other 3D artists working for them... including me (I did some guns a while back). Since they decided not to credit me or the others, I'm interested to see what content they used and what content they ditched.... that should be fun.
Fair call. The Babushki are still fun though. On a wholly different note, this here is a rather intense short film from visual effects artist Daniel Thron, doing something fresh and compelling with the rather hackneyed zombie trope. http://vimeo.com/35665030
Wow that game is awesome like crack. Took me a while to figure that I could steal bits of other spaceships! :D Wasn't sure how many real people were playing, but is a lot of fun flying around constructing bigger ships lol.
I've been playing this game on the regular. Pretty fun stuff. Just found out that they have a youtube channel with these promo vids :D [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSdJtNen-EA"]Clash of Clans: You and This Army (Official TV Commercial) - YouTube[/ame]
saw this on Boingboing "This fun song featuring a dancing 8-bit skeleton is actually a remix of what is believed to be the oldest Japanese song in the world. The song is called Kokoriko Bushi, meaning tune of a kokoriko—an ancient string instrument." [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SoZzlgQzHM[/ame]
Ah man that brings back memories.. good game. Must've been like 3-4 years ago or more. Another game on there that I ended up playing all the way through: Gibbets http://www.gamefudge.com/Gibbets Never has hanging been more fun.
http://vimeo.com/davidoreilly/extw External World: "A boy learns to play the piano." Pretty fun suite of animated shorts. Edit: forgot to include any description, forgot Vimeo doesn't embed like youtube does. (unless it can, and maybe someone can teach me how)
