More updates on my capture the book game :) Realtime shadows (from point lights), decals (blood), faster sprite code (for torches) and a completely rewritten network code:

Hey harry, thanks for the advice, i'll try your methods to check out the difference :) Meanwhile heres a small update. Did the textures for the Tower @ 256x256 & stands @ 88 tris.
It's an awesome blog, thanks to you! Here's an update. I messed up the lighting of the leaves. Which makes me admire the simple yet clever way the diablo3 trees are textured.
here's an update on pyramid. I've deleted some triangles, vertices, and sides and i also made the knife thinner:) I'm currently working on better textures. maybe by tomorrow they'll be up:poly121:
