Some great work here everyone! I finally had some time this weekend to pick up this model again. Spent some time building hair with polyplanes. Using Xoliul 2 shader for most of it and a anisotropic shader for the hair. Textures are not final yet and I´m gonna add a mean scythe as her weapon before rigging and animation.
Got him UVd and busted out the textures for him today. If anyone's interested I uploaded him to p3d: http://p3d.in/Bg8Ru Hopefully get him rigged up and ready for animating tomorrow. Its nice having a break from the super kid-friendly cartoony game I've been working on for over a year (Nick and Jane for iOS)
Started working on the pilot for my Velocity ship, currently 1024 for the texture but may rejig the layout so that I can make the face more better defined (damnit using vectors are fun! :D ) Still got the hair and boots left to texture then set up the rig for posing. May create a whole scene for this too but will see how…

Its been a while since my last animation but I thought this is the best character to return to the great world of 3D animation, It was really funny to model a Minion from Despicable me but its going to be awesome to move it!
