I still haven't been able to get my shoulder armor piece in the right position, but I'll keep trying. At this point, I have 4 items in the workshop for the contest. I just need to put in this 5th armor shoulder piece, but that bind pose is wrong.
SinAmos, thats exactly right, you havnt been paying much attention at all. Take a step back and think about exactly what your saying, do you really think its a smart choice to publicly shit all over some of these contest submissions? is it clever to do that on the workshop and on the forum hosting said contest? and all…
Guys, x-post from the monthly contest. Bounty hunter shuriken wip! Feedback greatly needed so i can move on to the next stage. I'm a bit insecure about the fur parts and YES that's supposed to be hair/fur from slain animal :( comments plz ?
I must be blind - don't see any tagging option like the polycount contest when you upload / submit, and you can't modify tags of your imported items - the tags are set when you import them. The only tags you can modify are collections?
'Been kicking this idea around in my head since the contest last year, and just got a chance to do a concept (though, it'll be weeks before I have the time to build the damn thing). I think I can do it. Questions? Crits? Great thoughts?
My entry for Riki is submitted! This was a really fun contest for me, I've never made anything for source before :) I was at the DOTA2 internationals in Seattle and it was intense! Can't wait till it's out of beta :) Here's my items: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198068961138/myworkshopfiles?appid=570
If you have a few hours, Bobo had some really cool demos for the darksiders weapon contest a few years ago, he had some really cool tips to doing damage on weapons. http://www.livestream.com/vigilnights/video?clipId=pla_69d386b0-0c57-444a-a1e5-4c820a55e9d2
Congrats to you all who got more items in! I'm still working on a sandking set I started during the contest... Finally got it all baked out and started roughing in colors. Textures are still very rough for the most part, still deciding on colors and layout. Here's a wip:
I just finished up some wings for my old Doom set I made for the DOTA 2 Polycount contest: I'm working on making this a complete set. I still need to design the Bracers and Tail. hey Neox: that hammer is pretty bad ass, very well done.
Well, we could wait until the start of February which would make each contest the length of the month it's in. That would be the neatest way to do it but it means slightly less than two weeks until the first one starts, perhaps that would give everyone a chance to finish their current projects?
