I will be 27 next week and I've worked in games for 5 years. Started off with a little over 2 years in QA after college, and then 3 years on the art side.
Damn some of you guys are young. 27. Got my first artist job at 18, but remember reconstructing Castlevania in cardboard at 8! Game art not as fun these days? It's better than ever!
Few Mythic guys on here I see :) I'm 27, currently working at Sega in London as a games tester, but hoping to move onto something more in development soon. Really want to work as a character artist down the line :) Although I haven't got a background in traditional art, hope that won't hinder me too much :/
27. Started 2 years ago. (1.5 in-house and freelancing for a little more than 6 months now) Thinking of trying to find a full time position again, so i can rest my mind a little , freelancing can be exhausting, even when you don't work much (especially then, i'd say) :)
