Hmm from what I know it shouldnt be hard to get the tier 2, I know a few people that have them, its all down to how much the employer wants you and if they are willing to make the extra effort.
Also name your images properly on your website, if I download a cool picture from your site, and its called udklevel2.png, I'll have a hard time figuring out where I found it from.
Here's an update on my progress. Any feedback would be much appreciated! Here is the other side of the receiver. I had a hard time with it but ended up not to bad. The flap for the bolt can be flipped down as well but it's closed in this screen.
Preferably for me, the left hand side geometry for high res hard surface detaling, once a validated blockout example is confirmed. Then it's bevel edge workflow in order too extract relevant surface data for projection onto a proxy.
I am using Maya 2016 edition and I finally just figured out how it was done. It was with duplicate special and was quite easy I just didn't look at it hard enough. Thank you for responses they were helpful
Roadkill Pro (not the free one you can find easily) Is the most efficient unfold software ive used. Only problem is that its incredibly hard to get hold of these days unless youre skilled at compiling maya plugins :(
But I still have too much vertices for Unity... If anybody else have an idea of what's going on... throttlekitty what do you mean by "Game engines need to split vertices when there's a hard edge or a uv seam"?
I would totally play this character. Only critique I have is that it doesn't seem like the elbows should bend. You have them smooth modeled with a hyper glossy surface. It usually indicates a hard structure lol.
It's very hard to see what's what in your screenies. In one the area looks convex, and in the other it looks concave. Can you post one with a bit more context so we can see what we're looking at?
"Blender will soon be considered a serious contender for 2D animation" For interest's sake, how "soon" in your opinion do you think? Oh...and happy 20th!, hard to believe it's been that long since Blender went fully open.
