So I'm unwrapping a low poly sword for texture practice and I have part of the sword selected and i want to lay it on top of the other identical piece perfectly so when i texture one it textures both. what functions do i use to do this?
Love the hangtime in the air, and when his blade gets stuck in the ground. I feel like after he pulls the sword out, the weight of the sword could pull his body a little further...seems a little quick the way it settles in currently. Great work man.
Thank'eh, gents. Means a lot to hear it. Stuff dump: Decided to have the big guy, Gil, use hafted weapons instead of huge swords. Here's his starting weapon: And a sword that Ellie gets later on in the game: Part of a thing: A concept for these things called Wayfarers: Yusssssss.
update the spade king (wraith king)'s sword top one is version 1 btm is the current one i thought of, the tip still i think maybe need to change shape or design to simpler...hmmm? (and suggestion :P) (okay the top sword actually is a joke)

Oh my god, that is so many ways of awesome ! I'm so a Zelda geek :) I _think_ that since he's left handed if he was to grab for the sword it would be sitting other way. Also please make it the master sword.... would be too awesome! :D *drool*
Got the shield, sword and sheath sculpted and changed a few things on Link's clothing from feedback I got. The Master Sword was my favourite part of sculpting Link, I don't make weapons often, so it's really fun when I get too do them.
Unless he's left-handed, you should probably swap the sword & dagger. It was typical to carry the sword on the off-hand side and draw it across the body. The dagger also seems a bit awkwardly placed; perhaps moving it to the boot would let you place the pistols in a better spot.
this looks amazing! to bad his sword is so short for a 2 handed on... the quillons should reach at least up to his belt for it to look accurate and up to his breast if you want to show this sword have been tailor-made for him. other than that, it looks flawless to me
