One more easy way to do this is to set your scale button to Select and Uniform Scale and right click on that button and you will have a % Offset:World, that way you dont need to see the pivot.
Thanks everyone for your responses, I can't tell you how panicked I was when I saw that glowing green 'CLOSED' button where the post button should have been.
Hold down the middle mouse button to rotate the camera. To set unit formations, hold down the right mouse button and then the left and drag the mouse till you see a formation you like
it's set to left mouse button for select visible, middle mouse button for select through. You really should open up the mouse settings and take a look tho /goes back to lurking
You can also use just the WYSIWYG interface. Use the "Insert Image" button, then select the image and click the "insert link"button to add a link to your image.
Small tweak to the concept to show where I'm going to move those front button/lights to. Still have to figure out how to deal with the back row of buttons.
press the button next to 1 (not 2 the other side) and type /password polycount in the console and press enter press the ` or ~ button (whichever you pressed before) to clsoe the console...

right click on the layer and choose "mask by color selection" then on the right side there will be a button that says "pick color". You pick one mesh then click again on the button "pick color" and chose the next one
