Haha that gif is awesome!. Would love to see a life cycle gif. Where it starts off as an egg grows up and then ends up as a skeleton. While stil keeping that sketchy feel in the beginning. But that's just me fantasizing :P no pressure.
New Scene didn't help. Doing a quick unwrap and repack did allow that top section to be rendered though... but how do I fix it without losing the unwrap I have already? X.x I hope i'm not sol..
It's amazing how much people base their choice of a political leader off of their religion when the founding father's of the country clearly didn't want it to be that way. Anywho...I'm currently cooking up a conspiracy that SNL directly influences the next president.
Robert (Bob) Harkins. I like "sal_manilla" 'cause it's easily remembered and "sal" is easy to type in a PC game. Also because it gives people severe diahrea which is a crack up....so to speak. Nice to meet you all.
nope. it'll only overwrite it if the material in the slot isn't in use anywhere else. if the material's applied somewhere in the scene, it'll disappear from the Mtl. editor, but it'll still be in the scene and you can just Get it back the same way.
yeah thats pretty much my take on iu.I use std brush with z ada or z zub, plus smooth. Started using the projection master stuff too. i just can't seem to go wrong with it at the moment
Good lookin cookin. I'm a newb at the game too, but this piece has potential. I stil have alot to learn when it comes to texturing myself... w/the different layers and all. is this personal or for a project of some sort? keep it up!
is there a way i can use multi channel textures in 3ds max? like if i have specular value in red channel and glossiness in green channel. Ive tried to do something with the slate mtl editor but i cant seperate the grayscale textures from the bitmap.
Not sure if this has been posted already, but: http://kotaku.com/5868662/skyrim-now-has-multiplayer-sort-of I foresee quite a bit of trouble if you can use the console and whatnot, but sounds like a good one, atl for co-op :)
yeah I am not doing pbr just now, so its really way of adding a little extra to the diffuse as an overlay and for example the lighting I bake in at 75 sel illum is very subtle ie maybe 20 percent overlay
