ive got this set up on a toggle hotkey, and i havent noticed any lag. the objects im working on fall exclusively under 30-40k though, which might not be considered high poly in some cases..
Daaawhhhh :] Thanks everyone! I couldn't imagine a better team to be a part of, or a better work environment! Not to mention being part of the Warhammer 40k MMO is simply PHENOMENAL. P.S. You've still got Ryan to pester BoBo ;)
Here's my first try of making a 3D car from scratch ever. It's a Peugeot Persia but since I haven't found a good blueprint, I used a blueprint of Peugeot 405, instead. Any comments appreciated.
Really depends on country and your goals. The biggest benefit of a degree is getting a Visa. The cost to benefit ratio in the US doesn't make sense anymore, I wouldn't recommend it unless the end cost was around $40k or less.
As i posted above, I got the CPU, mobo and RAM from the OPs setup back in August for £325. That would now be closer to £400 with the increase in RAM prices alone. PC parts are expensive over here.
man scoob, can't be dissin on kung fu hustle! or shaolin soccer! but anyway i just saw the trailer for "transporter 2" and i will say "Doom" looks to be about 400 times better than tran 2
Needles: I think they have found a way to make the Red and Green colors last quite a while (I think around 40k hours), but the blue is where the problem still is (I think around 12k hours).
