so Pior in your opinion is it that my retopo is does not have perfect squared polyes or is it something else that i am missing all together? and thanks a lot for the really education advice some to everyone else who has been giving me information on this as well.
It's like anything else. If you know the rules, in this case - making a proper base mesh yourself, you can deviate from them. But you have to come from a place of knowing and not simply use it because you don't know how else to get to that point.
Keep working on this piece for our short, ground is curently a placeholder, so don't considere it as finished, and it's someone else on my team that going to do the final ground anyway. Everything else is mostly done on this. Now gotta work on characters, going to post more soon.
Really interesting scene you set up! I agree though, why UDK instead of UE4? Also, is there anything else you're looking to add? Or is this finished? Not to say it doesn't look finished, I'm just curious if you had anything else planned to go into this.

Trying to avoid any color bias…
In case anyone else finds this post in the future...... I realized that the workaround for my initial question 3 is to select the softMod and also select the joint that you want to be its parent. It actually says this in the help image when you click the question mark box for the "Create Skin Control" button. For now I'm…
