the face is wierd, in fact it looks a little bit like robocop without his visor to me. To me it just doesnt seem to have the underlying bone structure of a face, its more like a face drawn on a squished sphere at the moment. http://img2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/imgs/070816/robocop_l.jpg
Maybe it's easier to make this inset first and "repair" this later... also depending on the tool.. here in blender: I start with the partly chamfered cuboid (like asked in the other thread).. So because the top and bottom are n-gons a loop/ring select (i always mix the names for the directions up  ) a…
Hi! like the overall atmosphere :+1: Looking closer, I think he shape of the fence boards looks a bit odd, the tip being sharpened on the flat sides (top face beveled with unapplied scale?) and they are quite thick. The fence would benefit in some slight variance in board placement and color as well. Most fences I have…
I just tackled this problem myself recently. Its kind of a pain in the ass. There is a very good reason that vertex color is not stored in the same place as vertex geometry. This is because a single vertex can have multiple colors, the same way that a single vertex can have multiple UV map coordinates. For example, in your…
yeah, i guess it's more of a mask. and he has horns cause he's evil.................i guess........... anyways, 256 poly Final Fantasy Bomb bout 1.5 hours on the mesh, and 3 hours on the skin cause i suck edit: mojo convinced me to figure out how to get the smoke to always face the camera..........i kinda faked it, but the…
The face doesn't look feminine to me. I'm not saying that you have to make her into a supermodel, but when I look at that face, I don't really see a girl. The lips seem way too botox duck face. Her clothes could be dirtier, faded, ripped etc. I like the choice of clothing.
I don't know if this will really help you much because I literally just made this face up as I painted, (I used no references, so she looks nothing like your concept)... But I mainly tried to change the proportions of her face so she looked more attractive. One thing that you need to pay special attention to is the fact…
Hi Eric, here's my process for creating textures for the wooden crate: First, I delete the back of the object, then I import it into Substance Painter. Once I'm done in Painter, I copy the textured faces to other surfaces. I adjust the UVWs later, here are some screenshots.…
The only time I have ever seen that issue is when you have 2 faces on top of each other and flipped normals. Try deleting the face maybe to see if there is in fact one underneath? My guess is on undo it adds a welded duplicate face onto your changed areas by mistake. Hope that is clear enough and maybe helps? Best of luck.
Hey @ddgurto that's a great update! The scene already reads much better, good job on that! In the first image it's still a bit unclear to me which one the focal point should be. is it the ornamental wall or is it the pillar. Currently the sun is shining on both of them separately. I'd try to have a clear indication where…
